Every single year I get a shirt from my mom. It’s the kind of shirt I really liked…when I was in high school. Every single year I say “Thanks!” but I think the “Gee” is getting more and more evident…I think this year I need to figure out how to say…Gee, Mom, this is great, can my son have it?! He’s almost in high school!

Given the style changes since you have been in high school. Would giving this shirt to your son cause another round of “Gee..Thanks”?

yeah good point. I’ve given them to my Dad as well. He hasn’t changed in about 50 years.

My mom gives me shampoo and conditioner every year (and has since high school). I think I’ve only had to buy my own once since 1992. But I am really not sure why she does this, but at least shampoo doesn’t go out of style.
